The Legend of Larenzoi was commissioned by a friend, Vanessa, as an anniversary gift for her partner, Skylar. Written from the perspective of Skylar's character on Baldur's Gate 3—Larenzoi the paladin dwarf—the song is a medieval ode of self-love peppered with references both to the game, as well as Larenzoi-specific lore (such as his unrequited love for Vanessa's character, Syl).
