8:28 was written for Community of Praise Baptist Church's (CPBC) 25th Anniversary and Easter celebrations in 2015. The play was staged at the Anglo Chinese School Junior College Faith Centre for Performing Arts on 3 April 2015. The title is a reference to the bible verse Romans 8:28, and the story is centred around a Singaporean family learning to cope with change and loss.
